Boracay 2013 Day 1
It’s a super duper late post cause of my outfit back logs, but here you go my Holy Week getaway with La Familia. It’s a vacation treat for my mom, my sweetie and I saved up for this trip. We booked our trip with ever reliable Barcode Philippines, thanks to Kuya Erickson for planning the trip.
Moving on, the trip was scheduled March 26-28, 2013 after our thesis proposal re-defense. My daughter Cassie’s first airplane trip and Boracay adventure, she enjoyed sight seeing when we landed the plane. Our flight was scheduled early in the morning so it’s still dark when we departed. Plus we arrived late at the airport so we rushed into the check-in counter, straight to the boarding gate and to the plane thats why I wasn’t able to take pictures when we departed manila.
Cassie looking cool wearing my Ray-Ban sunnies while in the ferry going to Boracay. The plane landed on kalibo so we had to travel to caticlan by van and ferry going to Bora.
It was still early when we arrive at the Hotel so we ate breakfast first before dipping into the beach plus we’re starving cause we haven’t eaten from 3:00-9:00 am.
After breakfast we checked in to the hotel and gear up for our beach attire. I didn’t intend to swim in the scorching heat of the sun but I dip in a little so cassie will feel the water plus the beach front wasn’t that nice when we arrive cause the sea weeds where all over the place. Cassie played with the sand, we tried to make some shapes out of it.
But Cassie was afraid of the sand when she walk through it, maybe she thought it will eat her feet so she didn’t walk all through long.Posing with her pale with sand making toys.

We ate snacks at the sea shore and watch the sea while the pack of people beat the heat, plus Anne Curtis-Smith was singing Shine Bright Like a Diamond when I was taking this photo. She was there to promote a brand of Sun Block.
After strolling from station 2-1, we got tired and ate lunch before having some rest. Plus the heat was intense thats why we didn’t plan any activities that time.|Forever 21 Top||Billabong Shorts||Charlie Sunnies|
When the sun set down, we strolled again at the beach front and enjoyed the view. As you can see in this photo the stain of the sea weeds marked at the sand. It was our first family Boracay adventure, too bad my dad and sisters weren’t there.
|Landmark Top, Shorts and Bag||SM Swimwear||Havaianas Flip Flops| We went to island souvenirs to order some customized shirts, I got mine back in 2010 so cassie and my partner had their shirts done.
Cassie was sleepy and tired because of the trip, walking and the ferry’s wheel made her dizzy.Fiesta models:) Good thing about station 1 is that you will see so much things that you can play around and you’ll never get tired of strolling and shopping for pasalubong.
My mom modeled also the ati-atihan poster.
Cassie make fun of herself too, her head was too small for the hole.
Look who got a new guitar. We did a little shopping before we had our dinner.
Picture taking with different hotel front view. Noticed that my mom always had a plastic bag whenever we go, when she something she’ll buy it. Now you know where I got my shopping urge:)We just ordered pizza and chicken for dinner, we’re still full from the meal we had for merienda at Mcdonalds. Good thing there are lot of new fast food at Boracay, when I first went their few stalls and food shops. Though the place was crowded it was a great first day. It was indeed relaxing and very timely for a summer break. Well I have to end this post here, hope you enjoyed my Boracay 2013 Day 1 post. Have a great sunday everyone.
